Cadaver Dogs Find No Remains In Search For Lilly & Jack Sullivan

RCMP say cadaver dogs did NOT detect human remains in a search for two missing Pictou County children.

The Mounties say two dogs specially trained in detecting human remains searched for Lilly and Jack Sullivan in Lansdowne Station in late September, covering a total area of 40 kilometres.

They say they covered the property the sister and brother went missing from, along a nearby pipeline and intersecting trails, and an area where a pink blanket was previously found.

RCMP say the dog teams didn’t find any remains in those searches.

However, they also caution that doesn’t definitively rule out the presence of remains in the areas that were searched, and it could mean the odour was there and couldn’t be detected.
