by Regional Councillors voted today to have a workshop to look at departments that’ve come in over budget in the municipality’s budget forecast.
The vote was on a motion from Councillor Steve Parsons after council heard the forecast came in about 272,000 dollars over budget.
Parsons says he wants to focus on the departments having trouble containing expenses.
Mayor Amanda McDougall says the workshop will likely be done over a number of days next month.
