Brothers Charged in Skye Glen Shooting Due Back in Court, Today

Two brothers charged after a shooting in Skye Glen outside of Whycocomagh are due back in court today for another bail hearing.

33-year-old James Edwin Tyler Goswell from Stewartdale and 27-year-old Justin Francis Goswell from Judique face a number of gun and drug charges.

Tyler Goswell has also been charged with aggravated assault.

The pair was arrested after RCMP were called to a home on June 2nd where officers found a 34-year-old man had been shot in the leg.

Police say the man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police also say they seized guns, ammunition, and drugs along with drug packaging equipment after searching two homes.

They’ve also laid charges against a third person and say they expect more arrests in their ongoing investigation.

21-year-old Makayla Sutherland, from Harbourview has been released from custody on a count of possession for the purpose of trafficking and is due back in court at a later date.
