The Body Shop says liquidation sales are starting immediately at 33 of its Canadian stores, including at the Mayflower Mall, and online sales through Canada’s ecommerce store will stop.
The company is entering restructuring proceedings after filing a notice under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
The company’s US branch stopped operating today.
The Body Shop International, Limited was sold by its parent company in December.
