Bluenose II In North Sydney, Today

The Bluenose II is due to dock at the Northern Yacht Club in North Sydney at 10 this morning.

The iconic schooner’s deck will be open to the public shortly after docking and remain open until 8:00, tonight.

It will sail for Baddeck on Thursday before heading to Iona for Sunday and make a return trip to North Sydney next week.

The schooner is due to return to Cape Breton in August for stops in Louisbourg and in Arichat.

It’s back on the water after undergoing a more than 20-million dollar refit over the past few years.
