Big Pond RV Park Appeal Hearing Resumes This Morning

The Utility and Review Board hearing on a proposed Recreational Vehicle Park in Big Pond resumes in Sydney, this morning.

People who live in the area are appealing Regional Council’s decision to approve a land-use bylaw amendment for the project.

The UARB already heard three days of testimony in July.

The board will continue to question Regional planner Karen Neville, today.

Municipal planning director Malcolm Gillis and project proponent Chris Skidmore are also on the witness list.

However, it’s not clear if they’ll be called to testify.

The hearing is due to resume at 9:30.
