Baillie Holding Campaign-Style News Conference in CB, Today

Progressive Conservative Leader Jamie Baillie is hosting a campaign style news conference in Cape Breton today as all provincial parties gear up for an anticipated election.

 

Baillie will be joined by Cape Breton, PC MLA’s Alfie MacLeod and Eddie Orrell at 9:30 this morning at the Health Park next to the Regional Hospital in Sydney.

 

The focus of the news conference is the doctor shortage on the Island.

 

Meanwhile, NDP Leader Gary Burrill was joined by more than 30 party candidates from the across the province yesterday as he launched the NDP’s election campaign in Dartmouth.

 

And the Liberal government continues to make election campaign-style announcements across the province, including three on the mainland, yesterday.

 

The spring sitting of the Legislature starts tomorrow and the government says it will table a budget on Thursday.
