24-year-old Zachary David Mackenzie is facing counts of Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm and Failure to Remain at the Scene of an Accident.
36 year-old Angelique Swann waiting for a school bus with her five year-old daughter on St. Peter’s Road on Thursday when a car lost control and veered toward them.
Witnesses say Swann pushed her daughter out of the way of the car at the last second.
Swann suffered a broken neck, as well as a broken rib and collarbone in the incident.
