47-year-old Gordon William Bobbitt faces a count of obstruction of justice in the case.
Six people have been charged in the beating of 48-year-old Shawn Curtis Jack, who was found in a North Sydney parking lot on July 14th.
Jack remains in a Halifax hospital, where he’s being treated for serious injuries.
