One of two members of the Florence Volunteer Fire Department charged in connection to a string of arsons in the community is due back in court today for a bail hearing.
49 year-old Stephen Tremblett from North Sydney faces 12 charges of Arson.
His co-accused, 24 year-old James Clayton MacDonald from Bras d’Or faces 16 counts of arson.
Last week, MacDonald was released into his parents’ custody on 11,000 dollars’ bail posted by him and his parents.
He’s due back in court on September 20th.
The charges against both men are in connection to 16 fires that took place over the last several months.
