Bail Hearing Adjourned For Murder Accused

Another day has been set aside for a bail hearing for a woman accused of first degree murder.

35 year-old Jessica Anne MacDonald is one of two people charged in the death of Stephen Rose, who was found dead inside a Rotary Park apartment in Sydney in November of 2019.

Protesters gathered outside the Sydney Court House today and yesterday during what was expected to be a two-day hearing.

The hearing was adjourned today until October 1st.

Joseph Frederick Evong is also facing a charge of first-degree murder in the case.

Evong and MacDonald are scheduled to stand trial separately next year.
