Awareness Walk To Be Held In Sydney Tomorrow

The Nova Scotia Native Women’s Association is holding an awareness walk in Sydney tomorrow on the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit, also known as Red Dress Day.

The event starts at 2:00 tomorrow afternoon at Wentworth Park with drumming, an opening prayer and speeches.

The walk will go to The Jane Paul Indigenous Women’s Resource Centre on George St.
