Autopsy To Be Performed On Body Found In Glace Bay

An autopsy will be performed on the body of a man that was found in Glace Bay’s Renwick Brook Park, yesterday.

Regional Police have not released the name or age of the man.

They add the death isn’t deemed suspicious but haven’t ruled out foul play.

The body was discovered by a passerby at around 11:30 in the morning.

Allie Weyman who lives near the park says the man was lying face up near the park’s sitting area and adds he appeared to be in his 50’s.

He goes on to say the man had no visible signs of injury and there was no evidence that there was a struggle.
