Arrest warrant issued for stabbing suspect

Cape Breton Regional Police are looking for a 22-year-old man in connection with a stabbing in downtown Sydney Saturday night.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Christian Michael Lewis, who is facing charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and theft of a motor vehicle.
Police say they received a 911 call about a stabbing shortly after 7:30 p.m. When officers arrived on Liberty Street they found a 29-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to hospital in serious condition.
Anyone with any information on Lewis’ whereabouts is asked to call Cape Breton Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
