Arrest Made In Case Of Antisemitic Graffiti In Halifax

Halifax Police say a man has been arrested and charged after their investigation into six antisemitic graffiti messages found in Halifax over the weekend.

Police say 31 year-old Gezim Topalli was arrested at his home in Halifax yesterday.

He faces three counts of mischief related to religious property and three counts of property damage along with one charge of public Incitement of Hatred.

The arrest comes after police released a picture of the suspect.

Two synagogues and a Jewish Family Institute building were targeted in the attack.
