Sydney Man Charged With Possession, Purpose to Traffic Cocaine

Regional Police have arrested a Sydney man after cocaine and cash was seized at his home.

39-year-old Michael Basil Ranni has been charged with possession for the purposed to traffic cocaine and two breaches of an undertaking.

Police say the RCMP Drug Joint Force and the Regional Police entered a home on Keltic Drive yesterday afternoon in Sydney with a search warrant.

Police add Ranni is at the Cape Breton Correctional Facility and will appear in Provincial Court in Sydney on November 21st.
