Armed Robbery and Attempted Armed Robbery in New Waterford

Regional Police are looking for two men after an attempted armed robbery and armed robbery in New Waterford, yesterday.

Police say a 44 year old new Waterford man suffered a minor injury after an attempted armed robbery at the banking machine at the Scotia Bank on Plummer Avenue.

The incident happened shortly after 7:00 in the morning.

About an hour later, Police got a call to the Needs Store on Plummer Avenue where they say a man wearing a disguise came into the store with a weapon.

He got away with an un-disclosed amount of money.

Police say they believe both matters are related.

They’re asking anyone with information on either incident to call them or Crime Stoppers.
