Appointments Open For Kids’ Booster Doses

The Health Department says parents and guardians of children between five and 11 can book their child’s first COVID-19 booster vaccine appointment starting today.

Appointments will be available starting on Tuesday.

The Department says the recommended interval between the last dose of the first two shots and a booster dose is 168 days.

It says children who’ve had COVID-19 should wait 168 days from the time of their infection before getting their booster dose.

Vaccinations can be booked at novascotia.ca/vaccination or by calling 1-833-797-7772.
