Appointments For COVID-19 Vaccinations Expand Today

Appointments for the province’s COVID-19 vaccination program are expanding today to include people 80 and older who were born in May, June, July or August.

People 80 and older who were born between January and April can also book an appointment if they haven’t already.

Appointments can be made online at novascotia.ca/vaccination or by calling 1-833-797-7772, starting at 7:00, this morning.

Vaccinations for those clinics are taking place at the Canada Games Complex at Cape Breton University.

Starting tomorrow, people who are 63 and 64 years old can book an appointment for the AstraZeneca vaccine at one of 25 pharmacy and doctor’s offices in the province.

The Cape Breton locations for those clinics include Island Family Health Care in Sydney, the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Sydney, the Northside Family Collaborative in North Sydney and Stone’s Drug Store in Baddeck.
