Applications Open For Seniors Care Grant

Applications are now open for the province’s new Seniors Care Grant.

The grant is available to homeowners and renters.

It offers up to 500 dollars to reimburse a number of costs, including home repairs, snow removal, groceries and lawn care.

To qualify for the grant, people have to be 65 or over and have an annual net household income of 37,500 dollars or less.

They also have to live in their home with a property or lease agreement in their name.

Applications are available at MLA offices.
