Alder Point Woman Wins Set For Life

A retired Alder Point woman won the Atlantic Lottery’s Set For Life last week.

65-year-old Charlina MacLeod scratched the winning ticket while waiting in a drive through line.

The ALC hosted a celebration at the Emera Centre in North Sydney last night.

She took the lump sum of $675,000  instead of $1000 per week for 25 years.

MacLeod says she will put some money away and enjoy life and help her family including her two grandchildren.

MacLeod lost her husband of 46 years George to lung cancer in March.
