Regional Police say a 38-year-old Albert Bridge man faces charges after he ran from police yesterday afternoon.
Police say traffic safety officers on patrol in downtown Sydney tried to stop a vehicle for traffic enforcement at around 3:00.
They say the driver didn’t stop and continued to the parking lot at the Holiday Inn on the Esplanade.
Police say the driver then ran toward the Cruise Pavilion as officers approached him where other officers caught him outside the building.
He’s been released and is due in Sydney Provincial Court on October 9th on charges of Dangerous Operation of a Vehicle and Flight from Police.
