Albert Bridge Area Man Charged After Port Morien Crash

A 37 year-old Albert Bridge area man has been charged with Impaired Driving and Failure to provide a blood Sample after a single-vehicle crash in Port Morien, last night.

Police say they got the call to Highway 255 and Sheppard’s Lane at around 10:20.

They add when officers arrived on the scene they saw a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am that had left the road and rolled several times before landing in the woods.

Police say the driver was the only person in the car and was taken to the Regional Hospital after being removed from the vehicle.

He was later released from hospital with minor injuries and released from police custody with a promise to appear in Sydney Provincial Court at a later date.
