Assembly of First Nations Chief Roseanne Archibald will be in Cape Breton today.

The We’koqma’q First Nation says Archibald will be meeting with members of the community to learn about their work and discuss issues affecting First Nation communities.

A greeting ceremony is being held at the We’koqma’q Community Hall at 10:00 this morning.

Archibald comes from the Taykwa Tagamou Nation in Ontario and became the first woman elected to lead the AFN in July of last year.
