A Number of Services Will Remain Closed Or Cancelled For The Rest Of The Day

A number of services in Cape Breton will remain closed or cancelled for the rest of the day.

Cape Breton Transit buses will not run, today.

Cape Breton University says the campus will remain closed this afternoon because of weather conditions.

It says it will announce the status of evening classes by 4:00, this afternoon.

Provincial government offices in the Regional Municipality and Victoria County will remain closed for the rest of the day.

The Regional Municipality says garbage collection is cancelled today and City Hall is closed for the rest of the day.

All flights at the McCurdy Sydney Airport are now cancelled until this evening.

And, Marine Atlantic has now cancelled tonight’s crossings from both North Sydney and Port aux Basques.
