St. Mary’s Polish Church in Whitney Pier will host a short Sunrise Service for Peace at dawn on Tuesday, September 1st, everyone is welcome. It begins at 6:20am and marks the 87th anniversary of the invasion of Poland and the start of the Second World War. There will be special readings, silence, reflection on how to be peacemakers today, and the release of doves, with thanks to Bill Laurie for providing the doves. A complimentary light breakfast will follow in the church.
