by Lunenburg West MLA Becky Druhan has officially announced she’s a candidate for the provincial Liberal Party leadership.
Druhan makes the announcement with the deadline for candidates to submit their nomination papers on Tuesday of this week.
The former Progressive-Conservative cabinet minister crossed the floor to join the Liberals in May,
The only other candidate for the leadership is Richmond County deputy warden Amanda Mombourquette.
The leadership convention is scheduled to take place on November 21st when the new leader will be announced.
