As predicted, the price of gas and diesel went up overnight.
Gas increased by 3.8 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.88.8 in Cape Breton.
Meanwhile, diesel went up for the third time this week after the Energy Board use the interrupter clause twice to make adjustments ahead of the regular weekly setting.
Diesel increased by 5.9 cents in the latest adjustment.
The minimum price for a litre of diesel on the Island is now $2.28.7 cents.
