by The price of diesel went up overnight for the second time in two days as the Energy Board used its interrupter clause again.
Diesel took a big jump of 10.6 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $2.22.8 in Cape Breton.
The Energy Board says last night’s change was necessary because of a significant shift in the market price for diesel as was the case on Monday night into Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the price of gas didn’t change.
Gas still goes for a minimum of $1.85 a litre on the Island.
