Start Of Lobster Season Delayed, Again

The start of the season in Lobster Fishing Area 27 that runs from Bay St. Lawrence to Gabarus has been delayed yet again because of weather conditions.

Fishermen are now looking to start their season on Sunday.

The season was originally scheduled to start on Friday.

It was then delayed to Saturday because of high winds and delayed again until today.

There are about 500 harvesters in LFA 27 with a trap limit of 275 each.
