by Regional Police say they found the body of a missing Sydney man in woods off Moosehead Trail in Mira yesterday afternoon.
30-year-old Connor Ross MacDonald was last seen on the afternoon of March 26th when he left his Queen Street home.
His grey Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was found on Morrison Road on the weekend.
Police say Cape Breton Search and Rescue identified a new set of footprints about 3 kilometres from the road and a Department of Natural Resources helicopter was called to help with an aerial search along with a Regional Police drone operator.
They say human remains were discovered among large spruce boughs.
Police say there’s nothing to indicate foul play is a factor in the death.
