The Cape Breton Regional Hospital is going to be demonstrating its new artificial intelligence-powered weapons detection screening system today.
The Health Authority says then new screening system will be going into service starting tomorrow at the hospital’s emergency department entrance.
It says the system is part of a provincial roll-out that will enhance safety and security for all patients, visitors and staff.
The system will be demonstrated to members of the media from 10:00 to 11:00 this morning.
