by The nominees for the 2026 East Coast Music Awards were announced in Sydney today.
Among those nominated are Cape Breton’s Elyse Aeryn and Goldie Boutilier who have been nominated for multiple awards.
Other Cape Breton nominees include Morgan Toney, Angelo Spinazzola, Jon Hines and Aaron MacDonald, as well as Aaron Lewis, Carleton Stone, Mike McKenna Jr., Jamie Foulds, Max Kearns and Mike Sheppard.
Sydney is this year’s host for the ECMAs, with a number of local venues slated for performances including Centre 200, the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre, the Highland Arts Theatre, NSCC Sydney and a few local bars.
Events will take place from May 20th – 24th.
