by The province’s police watchdog is investigating the actions of a Cape Breton Regional Police officer after a fight at a craft beer festival in Sydney last week.
The Serious Incident Response Team says the officer was off-duty last Friday night when an altercation broke out between the officer and a man at the event.
They say the man was brought to hospital, where he was treated for head injuries.
The SIRT goes on to say the case was referred to them by police the next day.
The officer’s name has not been released.
