The lead volunteer at the Clifford Street Youth Centre in North Sydney says the facility is in danger of closing.
Paul Ratchford says donations are down this year while demand has almost doubled back to the level seen before the pandemic.
The centre has been open since 2009, providing free after school meals, mentoring, clothing, education, cooking classes and a variety of other activities free of charge.
Ratchford says they’ve capped their gift giving to under 200 children for the first time.
Anyone willing to donate to the centre can visit its Facebook page or call 902-794-9371.
