Province Seeking Budget Feedback

The province says people are invited to share their suggestions on what should and shouldn’t be in the 2026-27 budget.

Finance Minister John Lohr says the next budget will be about growing the economy and addressing the deficit.

In September, Lohr projected a deficit of $1.2-billion for the 2025-26 fiscal year– the biggest shortfall in the province’s history.

People can give feedback on the 2026-27 budget by emailing budget@novascotia.ca.

They can also write to the Finance Department in Halifax or contact their MLA.
