Little Lorraine Movie Picks Up Prize At Atlantic International Film Festival

A film shot in Cape Breton is one of the top prize winners at the 45th edition of the Atlantic International Film Festival in Halifax.

“Little Lorraine” has won the Michael Weir Award for Best Atlantic Screenwriter.

Andy Hines and singer-songwriter Adam Baldwin are sharing the award.

The film is tells the story of an international drug smuggling operation in a small seaside town and was primarily filmed in Louisburg.

It’s based on Baldwin’s song “Lighthouse in Little Lorraine.”
