by Nova Scotia Power says there’s a planned power outage that will affect a wide swath of Inverness County early next week.
It says the outage will happen from 11:59 Sunday night to 2:00 Monday morning and will affect about 9,000 customers.
The utility says the outage is needed so crews can safely repair the main transmission line that runs from Whycocomagh to Cheticamp.
It says the work will improve the reliability of service.
