by The East Coast Music Awards has a new Executive Director.
The ECMA Board says Bob Hallett will be starting in the post on Monday.
The Board says Hallett is a musician, entrepreneur, and industry leader best known as a founding member of the award-winning band Great Big Sea.
His appointment comes after the ECMA parted ways with its former Executive Director Blanche Israel in January.
Her removal came after controversy last fall over a number of changes made with the Awards.
Sydney is hosting next year’s East Coast Music Awards from May 13th to 17th.
