Pyke To Stand Trial In MacDonald Murder in 2027

One of three men charged in the murder of Justin MacDonald from North Sydney had a trial date set for February of 2027, this morning.

Ryan Joseph Pyke is charged with second degree murder and robbery in MacDonald’s death.

Three weeks have been set aside for his judge and jury trial.

Aaron Curtis Mickey is also facing charges of second degree murder and robbery in the MacDonald case.

Mitchell George MacPhee is charged with manslaughter and robbery in the case.

Last week, Regional Police confirmed remains found by Justin MacDonald’s father, Ken, off the Morley Road is the younger MacDonald.

Police say autopsy results confirm his death is a homicide.
