The provincial Health Authority says the number of people on the wait list for a family doctor or nurse practitioner has gone down.
They say as of March 3rd there were 95,875 people on the Need a Family Practice Registry.
That’s down from over 104,000 in the numbers put out last month.
The Health Authority says in total over 8,400 people were attached or removed as a result of ongoing validation work that confirmed they have a provider last month.
The number of people still on the registry is 9.1 percent of the province’s population.
