by Health Canada has issued a warning for several different brands of relight candles sold at Walmart.
The federal department says a relight candle is a candle that relights spontaneously after it’s blown out.
It says such candles are banned in Canada because they pose a fire hazard.
It’s asking anyone who has relight candles to immediately stop using them and dispose of them according to municipal hazardous waste guidelines.
Health Canada says the candles have been removed from sale online from Walmart.ca.
