by Regional Police say a person was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Membertou over the weekend and officers are still looking for the driver who they say drove away.
They say it happened on Churchill Drive at about 8:30 on Friday night.
Police say they believe they’re looking for a white 2015-2021 Volkswagen Golf.
They say the vehicle will have damage to the right side, a missing right-side passenger mirror and a smashed out right-side passenger window.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
