by 138 people braved the icy waters for yesterday’s 12th Port Morien Polar Dip.
Organizers say the water temperature was 2.8 degrees Celsius and $6,170.00 was raised.
Money from this year’s Dip is going to the Donkin Morien Community Association’s inclusive playground project.
To date, the Polar Dip has raised more than $61,000 for local organizations.
