Early Voting In Provincial Election Starts Today

Early voting starts today in the provincial election.

Voters can cast their ballot at any voting location in the province, not just in their home electoral district, starting today.

After the close of candidate nominations a week from today, early voting will be done using what Elections Nova Scotia calls a new secure e-Ballot system on a tablet.

Voting by traditional paper ballots takes place on Tuesday, November 26th.

Nova Scotians who are 18 years or older, are a Canadian citizen, and have lived in the province for 6 months can vote in the provincial election.
