by The Louisbourg Lighthouse Trail is reopening today after being closed for more than two years because of damage from Storm Fiona.
Last year, the province committed $158,400 from its Sustainable Communities Challenge Fund for repairs to the trail.
Some sections of trail were rebuilt with the money while other sections were relocated farther inland to protect them from future storm surges.
The Trail runs from the Louisbourg Lighthouse to Lorraine Head.
It reopens today at noon.
