Cromolyn Eye Drops Recall

A brand of over-the-counter eyedrops is being recalled because of the risk of microbial growth.

Cromolyn Eye Drops are used to prevent and relieve symptoms of seasonal pink eye in adults and children five years-old and older.

Health Canada says using a product contaminated with microbes may lead to an eye infection.

All lots of the 5 mL and 10 mL formats of Cromolyn Eye Drops are affected by the recall.

People who have the eyedrops should return the product to their local pharmacy for proper disposal.
