Sentencing Hearing Today In Robert Bradley Murder Case

A sentencing hearing is scheduled to take place today for the Florence man found guilty of second-degree murder in the beating death of 60-year-old Robert Bradley from Sydney Mines.

41 year-old John Patrick White was found guilty in April after a Supreme Court trial.

The Crown called 17 witnesses during the judge alone trial along with two rebuttal witnesses.

The defence called four witnesses.

40 year-old Stephen Bishop was also charged with second-degree murder in Bradley’s death.

He pleaded guilty to the included offence of manslaughter and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
