As predicted, the price of gas went down, overnight.
Gas dropped by 4.9 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.57.8 in Cape Breton.
Diesel edged down by 2.5 cents a litre.
The minimum price for a litre of diesel on the Island is now $1.61.7.
