Prime Minister In Cape Breton, Today

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in Cape Breton today after making a stop on the mainland, yesterday.

The Prime Minister’s Office says Trudeau will participate in a trail walk and storytelling session at 10:40 this morning to mark National Indigenous Peoples Day.

He’ll be joined at the event by Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations, Gary Anandasangaree.

At 12:30 this afternoon Trudeau is scheduled to make an announcement related to what the PMO calls historic claims and better education for Indigenous Peoples.
